Spring has Sprung!

It's been a while since we last connected. While there has been no shortage of 'languishing' over the past year, now that Spring has sprung, and vaccines are becoming more widely available, there is a desire to step outside of our comfort zones again (aka our stretchy pants) and to actually leave the house! And boy, does it feel liberating. I've enjoyed meeting friends for an alfresco lunch or a coffee in the park to catch up. I'm taking long(er) walks and, dare I say, I've been pondering upon booking some travel. I hope that you, too, have found your groove again.

The budding trees and flowers throughout town are a resilient reminder that, with each new day, there is hope. With so many things in bloom, I am finding myself snipping branches and floral sprigs everywhere I turn. The cherry blossoms have such a short window, the ones in my yard are already obsolete and have turned from their soft pink palette to a new shade of chartreuse. The forsythia is still in full bloom and I've been enjoying clippings of both it and freshly cut daffodils on my countertop, daily. It is amazing what a little color can do.
